The idea of having alumni association at AKIM’S has conceived in the year 2005 after first five batches were out to the industry.

The Alumni Association was formed with the following objectives:
- To bring the practical experience to the classrooms through interaction with Alumni
- To bridge the gap between industry and academia
- To get inputs from Alumni to make curriculum more contemporary and practical in nature
- To help our students to get easy access to companies for doing Internship and Dissertation activities
- To help our students to get better placement and career guidance
- To make Alumni to feel good being part of AKIM family
AKIM is very proud to have very well placed alumnus. Some of our Alumnus are working in Sony, Indian National Insurance Company, Manipal Institute Of Banking, Himalaya, JP Morgan, SSGA, Alkhaliji Bank, Qatar, HCL, Michelin Tyres, Axis Bank and many other reputed companies. We are in the process of creating registered closed group facebook page for exclusively consisting of our alumnus.
